3rd Annual Softball Tournament and Homerun Derby

Lost Mountain Park | Marietta, GA

Friends of Tom O'Connor, Inc. has scheduled the 3rd Annual Softball Tournament and Homerun Derby for November 15 and 16, 2008 to be held at Lost Mountain Park in Marietta, GA. This year, the tournament will be open to ALL teams, not just Public Safety teams, for the first time.

Last year's tournament raised over $10,000 for the Leukemia Research Foundation. And this year, we hope to surpass that amount. Please join us in raising funds to help find a cure for this disease.

This year's tournament will again honor Leslie Lance, who is still battling this debilitating disease.

Casino Night is a Huge Success!

Thank you! Friends of Tom O'Connor Casino Night turned out to be a huge success. Thanks to your generosity, we raised over $500 for The Care Package Project.

This particualar event waa near and dear to Tom. Not only is Tom a former Marine, but his son is also a Marine who has served in Iraq.

The money you raised will help deter the cost of shipping the packages that MarineParents.com sends to Marines stationed in Afghanistan and Iraq. If not for these packages, some Marines (for one reason or another) might never receive any type of package from back home.
